Visit the Drupal installation guide for general theme installation instructions.
- Download the theme.
You can find the latest OFW theme on http://openframework.stanford.edu/downloads.
- Extract the files. You should see a list of files extracted into a folder. You will need to rename the folder from open_framework-7.x-2.x to open_framework.
- Upload the folder.
Transfer your extracted files to the sites/all/themes/ directory in your Drupal installation.
- Read the directions.
Read README.txt for specific instructions.
- Enable the theme.
Go to administer > site building > themes. Check the 'Enabled' box next to the theme.
- Optional: Make it the active, default theme.
Check the 'default' box to make this the chosen theme for your site. Enabled alone will allow users to select the theme, if you have allowed that permission.
- Click the 'Save Configuration' button at the bottom.
Note: We do not recommend using Open Framework as an administration theme.
