What's changed in OFW since November 15:
- You can now use bootstrap alert classes on block class
- Fixed breadcrumb theme option
- Added search button to search box
- Added screenshot on theme selection screen
- Updated alt text for logo image
What's coming up next couple weeks:
- Add more styles to sortable style guide
- Add navigation menu responsive support
- Provide offscreen and different responsive block classes for menu blocks
- Add a sub-theming kit
Things we are considering in the near future:
- Add support for responsive fonts using fittext (particular site title treatments)
- Provide directions for using proper jQuery version to avoid Twitter Bootstrap and Drupal conflicts
- Provide support for retina displays
- Release project on drupal.org
- Documentation on sub-theming and site building using OFW
Long term considerations:
Below are some directions we're considering taking for OFW. We welcome any feedback you have.
- Explore using SASS and Compass for responsive grid
- Create a seperate version of Open Framework
- Basic: Core OFW functionalities including style reset, responsive grid and Twitter bootstrap styles (not theme options)
- Plus: Include theme options, template packages
